Well, here is a picture of the house we just bought last week. It is a stone house built in 1925. It needs a lot of work and that is what this blog is for. I will try my hardest to keep updated photos of our work in progress.
Kam, I'm so happy for you! Didn't know you moved. Of course I've been out of touch with the old NICU gang for a while, other than an occasional e-mail. From what I remember of yall, you always rented so I know being homeowners can be quite exciting. Virginia is beautiful, and how wonderful to create your new place there from an old gem of a home. Best of luck and I know it'll be a beauty. I look forward to seeing the finished product! Pam Ross pbrrn@aol.com
Sorry that it has taken me such a long time to write, but I LOVE YOUR HOUSE!! It is absolutely beautiful. Congrat's to you both.
Bennett and I were in D.C. over 4th of July. We flew into Richmond and went to Williamsburg and Jamestown. I feel in love w/ Virginia. I would move there in a heart beat....can't stand the Texas heat anymore!
Can you post your phone # for me...I think I misplaced it.
Shay and I moved to Charlottesville, Va in 2007 from Baton Rouge, La. In June 2008 we purchased our first home! You will see from the pictures that is a complete "fixer upper". We will try to keep updated pics of the before, during and after process.
